Eligible DC residents are invited to apply for the unique job training programs under the DC WIC IT and Healthcare grant.

These programs are to empower all DC vulnerable communities, unemployed/underemployed, veterans & spouses, returning citizens, recent immigrants and many more groups.

• Transition from "Minimum/No Wage" to "Living Wage"!

• NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

• Hands-on Job Training

• Job Placement Assistance

Available Training Programs:

​

• Software Testing / Quality Assurance (5.5 months, 2 times a week, 6 pm to 9 pm, virtual)

• Python Programming / QA Automation (5.5 months, 2 times a week, 6 pm to 9 pm, virtual)

• Digital Marketing / Marketing Operations (5.5 months, 2 times a week, 6 pm to 9 pm, virtual)

Eligibility:

The DC Workforce Investment Council validates students eligibility for all programs utilizing the DC Data Vault system. The eligibility criteria include but not limited to being:

 

• 18+ years old

• DC Resident

• High School Graduate or GED
